I hope this chat finds you well.
Looking for suggestions and opinions about a 3-4 night home base
no further than (90 miles or 1.5 Hours from MXP Airport)
We will have a car. We fly home from MXP.
Leaning towards Bergamo or Lake Iseo.
We have already stayed in Milan, Turin, Como, Bellano, Stresa.

I was about to suggest Lake Maggiore, but you already visited Stresa.
If you haven't seen everything on that lake I would consider another stay in that area. I don't know if you had a chance to see Orta San Giulio (lake Orta), the Cento Valli scenic railroad, Cannobio, Locarno (CH).
If you have seen everything there, then Bergamo is just about 1+ hours from Malpensa. The issue is the traffic on the Milan tangenziale (beltway) at commute time. Iseo is an extra 30 to 40 min so you are closer to 2 hour travel with traffic.

Cremona is a very cool city...not on your list but we had a great time there. We liked Hotel Duomo Cremona. The restaurants are great and the Museo del Violino is fascinating. They also have an excellent market.
