1/2 Day Wine Tours from Florence

Does anyone have any recommendations of half day wine tours from Florence? We are wanting to go to the Chianti region. I have seen some on Viator.com and was wondering if anyone has booked through this website.

We had a full day wine tour with Tuscan Trails. Even though you wanted a half day, this full day was marvelous and a great value for money. The delicious lunch with wine was included. You will be in a minivan with a maximum of 8 people.

I would love to know the answer to this as well! We are thinking of a Saturday, and would need to get to Rome in the early evening so a half day tour would be perfect.

We are going in mid September and I booked this one in the Chianti region. We are doing the wine tour and cooking, but just the 1/2 day wine tour is an option. Accidental Tourist

We recently got back from Italy and did a Chianti Wine Tour through 'Fun In Tuscany'. It was simply amazing!!

The trip includes transportation to and from the Chianti region, an English-speaking guide, visit to a vineyard and olive groves, then to the medieval town of San Gimignano (which is magical and has the BEST views of Tuscany), then onto our wine tasting. At our wine tasting we received 8-9 wine tastings along with a plate of cheese and meats and some lasagna for dinner. Then to top it all off, they take you to the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence to see the amazing views. It was 100 euros per person, and was so worth it.

There was only four people in the "wine tour" section of the trip (you can choose to do a horseback riding or Vespa riding tour). This made it very personal and we even rode around Tuscany in one of the tour guide's personal vehicle. It was great and highly recommended.
