My husband and my parents and I are driving from CT to Venice in rental car. We have planned 3 nights in Tuscany. We prefer to stay on hilltop overlooking a city which also provide wines from own winery. Should we stay all 3 nights in 1 place or break it up into 2 different places and any suggestions for good B&B 's?

I stayed at a quaint little place that was on the top of a hill and overlooked a vineyard. I can't remember if you could see San G from there or not, but it was very close. The 'town' was called San Donato. There was a small church, a few hotels and a winery, but it was charming. I stayed at a b&b called Antica Dimora, but there was another hotel right next to it attached to the winery and that is where I would stay if I went again as I think they had a small restaurant. When we arrived there were many artists with easles that were painting...it was like a scene from a movie. It was very close to San G and easy drive to many of the surrounding villages.
