Our group of 8 hikers recently spent 10 wonderful days in Ortisei at the family-run Hotel La Perla. It is a leisurely 20 minutes walk from the center of town, with beautiful views of the town and Seceda. Breakfast and dinner were included, along with an afternoon snack. The meals were outstanding and included gluten-free options at every meal. An on-demand shuttle was always available to take us into town and to the base of the cable cars as well as to pick us up at the end of the day. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. We look forward to a return visit and met two families who have been coming to the hotel for over 30 years!

Ann..I highly agree with you! My best friend and I spent 10 nights in the Dolomites..5 of those at LA Perla. So wonderful..they cannot do enough for their guests..the food is outstanding..hiking with their guide every day was more than we hoped for..and the rooms are perfect..cozy..updated...comfortable beds. Such a hard place to leave. We enjoyed all of their dining rooms..met the owners..enjoyed all the personal quirks that make LA Perla a go to!
