I am looking for suggestions of apartments in Rome that would accommodate 2 adults, 3 teens and my mom who is in her 70's. I wish Apartment 19 was large enough for us but we need something a bit bigger.

Try Navona Garden Suites. We stayed in their michaelangelo suite last summer and it was wonderful. Right next to piazza Navona. It will hold 6.

When I was in Rome in 2006 I stayed in a place called Caput Mundi. It was a cheap hotel which was very nice.
It is close to the central train station or Rome. You can check it out.
