Water taxi from Venice Marco Polo Airport to hotel

Anyone with recommendations for water taxi. Looking for reliable, friendly service willing to share little information
about Venice during ride to our hotel.

Hi there-It is so wonderful to arrive in Venice and approach by water taxi...magical! I have utilized the advice of my hotel a couple of times and they arranged my transfer for me. It is a good thing to have this pre arranged, as sometimes the private taxis are all booked. I have only had this happen once-it all worked out-but there was an extended wait. You can also go online and prebook your transport. Perhaps others here can comment on a "guide" during your transfer....I have always found that it goes much too fast!
Have a lovely time in Venice!

Just make sure you double and triple check how you will be met at the airport. Our hotel was to pick us up and have a wonderful boat ride! We'll, no one met us, we had trouble finding someone, anyone to help us. Finally a tall young Italian guy in a very skinny suit said, come I will take you. At that point we didn't have a lot of options. WE couldn't find anyone to call the hotel for us. This was our first trip to Europe and had no travel smarts! We rode to Venice in an old station wagon. THAT was 15 years ago. It was a great learning experience!

This past August we prebooked with https://www.motoscafivenezia.com/en/
which was recommended by a local.

The company had a desk at the airport water taxi stand. We showed them a printout of our booking and were directed to a waiting taxi.
The ride was expert, fast, and a great way to approach Venice. There was no “guiding” as I recall (not to say a driver would not provide info if asked, but English proficiency may vary).

Enjoy Venice!!

It's a great way to travel! I've prebooked once, but in late November, 2021, I booked at the airport in Venice with no problem. No one in line! A Venetian friend once told me, "Don't tip them; they make enough!"

There are plenty of public water taxis outside the airport. Best I remember you bought a ticket inside the baggage claim area of the airport. It was a short stroll down the dock outside the airport.
