HI, can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in Volterra for 1 night.
Rick's videos shows it as a great place to stay for the night and enjoy the locals, but accommodation looks confusing, we have a car but we can park it outside the walls. We want to stay in or very close to the town, any suggestions ?

I enjoyed my stay in October, 2014 at La Primavera B&B (www.affittacamere-laprimavera.com), p. 678 in RS Italy. She has free parking and the walk to the old town gate is only two blocks. Inside the gate, it's uphill to the center, but you probably won't avoid some hills.

We stayed at Hotel La Locanda with a RS tour in November '15. Very nice and we would stay there again. It was about a 10 minute walk from the parking area

try to get a tour with Annie Adair whe you are in Volterra -- she is amazing!
