Has anyone been to this restaurant in Venice lately? We went to it a couple of years ago on our first night when we were jet lagged. And it was a perfect beginning to our trip. We will be in the same situation this May, we have one night in Venice, but we will be definitly jet lagged and won’t want to go somewhere whereby its a big production. The website is suspended so I can’t figure out how to make reservations. And wondered if something happened to it.

There are recent reviews on TripAdvisor, but their website is indeed suspended. I have no idea what that means. If you really want to go there, you could call them by looking up the phone number on TripAdvisor.
If that doesn't work, and you would like a recommendation, I would suggest Rosa Rossa which was my favorite when we spent a month in Venice a few years back. Warm welcome, moderately priced, nice ambiance, and good food. And reliable, which is why we went three times.
It is however not close to the train station, where you plan to stay. I cannot think of a nice place nearer your hotel, but perhaps others can.

We don’t mind walking, it looks like it’s only a 20 minute walk from the hotel so maybe we will try it.
