I am booked on the VFR tour next April. I was wondering for those that have recently taking this tour--what is the name of the hotel when the tour is in Florence.
I understand that RS tours often use a few different hotels in each city. I was just wondering what hotesl the tour utilizes.

They do not always stay in the same hotels. And this far ahead of the tour, they might not have solidifed arrangements for that tour. You should receive a list of the hotels several weeks before the starting date of the tour, but if you need the information earlier, perhaps an email to the RS office will let you know the name of the hotel for your particular tour. Or at least let you know when that information will be available.
We stayed at the Silla Hotel on the south bank of the Arno, very nice place. But no one here knows what your hotel will be. You could try contacting the RS tour office but they might not have that info this early.
