Lots of stairs, gets steeper the closer you get to the top. But if you can't handle stairs don't go to the Cinque Terre! The rooms were small but comfortable. We were two couples traveling together so we had both rooms which worked out great for us. The window overlooking the main street was fun for people watching, especially during the super busy times. The location right over the main street was great if you like being close to the action, which we do.
