Looking for accomodations close to the main strip. Thanks.
Have you tried Booking.com? There isn't really a "main strip". The town is so small, that wherever you stay you will be within 5 minutes of everything else. I would look at a map, and then school through listings on booking looking for highly rated, in your price range, and then look at its location and pictures.
Have you tried the places recommended by Rick Steves in his guide? A good first stop.
Sometimes I just Google "B&B in _______" and see what pops up as they are not all listed on Booking.com, but many may have reviews on Google or Trip Advisor (although use the latter with care).
Look up Gianni Franzi. We like it there. Lots of steps to the top, if you're overloaded with baggage, but if you have packed light, the view is worth it. http://www.giannifranzi.it/
Rick Steves Italy is the best reference point for this, as accommodation is few and far between. You could try Air bnb I am sure a few people have now moved into that market.
