Venice restaurants

We had a nice dinner at Osteria de la Patatina a San Polo, next to the bridge crossing the canal just east of Campo San Polo.

DaAlvise on Fondamente Nuove in Cannereggio is a lovely restaurant. Delicious food, welcoming staff. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the laguna.
Also AllaStrega in Castello near San Giovanni e Paulo is a great place for pizza, too. Both are non touristy.

DaAlvise is definitely a winner! High quality food and service and location right on the water.

da Alberto, Vini da Gigio/ both have really good food.

We enjoyed Taverna Scalinetto also. Make reservations.

Ristoteca Oniga on Campo San Barnaba.

Al Vecio Marangon in the Dosoduro. Get the pesto!
