Ristorante Antica Sacrestia was the culinary highlight of our trip to Venice. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. For anyone who has ever been on a luxury cruise, you know what luxury service is, and you will receive the same royal treatment here. The staff treated us like VIPs-- even though our appearance was a little bedraggled after a day of touring, and even though we only ordered the less expensive items on the menu (pizza, pasta). We had no less than four waiters, hovering to cater to any request. In addition, we received complimentary aperitifs, a complimentary dessert beverage, and our three children were delighted to receive a complimentary box of cookies each. The ambience is also beautiful and romantic. Families, sweethearts, honeymooners--you will all love this restaurant!

Actually, this restaurant was comparable in price to all the bland, no-name places that line the streets of Venice. The difference was, we got much better food and ambience for our money. I recommend this restaurant to travelers on all budgets. You can easily pick menu options within your budget.
