Can anyone recommend a hotel in Venice?
If you use the search feature on the forum and type in “Venice Hotels”, it will bring up several former threads on this topic that may give you some ideas that are helpful. I’m sure others may have some suggestions as well. You will get better answers if you can share your budget, if there is a preferred area, or any special considerations.
price point? Amenities? How many rooms? Which district (Sestiere)? Or at least what's important to you? The cheapest? Fanciest? Near the station? Away from crowds.
I have lots of suggestions based on personal experience but your question is way too broad, I'm afraid.
Time of year is really important. There are months when I'd consider air conditioning absolutely essential, yet quite a lot of the less expensive lodgings in Venice don't have a/c. I think elevators are also pretty rare. Will you need a place with an elevator?
The Hotel L’Orologio, located on the Grand Canal, is perfect. Our daughter was married in Venice with a small family wedding, and we all stayed here. Small and charming with modern amenities. https://www.hotelorologiovenezia.com/hotel-in-venice/hotel-for-clock-enthusiasts
