I haven't found much current on this topic. Looking for some ideas for our 5 days here in December.

La Zucca, Ai Artisti, Antico Calice (my personal favorite last fall), NoNo Risorto, Ai Promessi Sposi. So many we have enjoyed over the years. Get away from Piazza San Marco and Rialto, for the most part.

Ask your hotel desk clerk for suggestions. They'll know what's the better restaurants in close proximity to your hotel.
Be careful if you order seafood. The prices on the menus are usually by WEIGHT (often per 100g) of a whole fish before preparation (bones and all, the fish may weigh 4 times the filet you actually get, and thus the price will be relative to the menu quote). This is normal pricing there, so ask what the total price will be before you actually place the order. The food is generally quite good. Enjoy!
