Venice - 3C B&B

We recently stayed at the 3C B&B in Venice and were very pleased. The B&B is located near the Doge's Palace and is very convenient from the vaporetto stop: San Zaccaria (no steps or bridges between the B&B and the vaporetto stop), though there is one flight of steps to walk up to reach the front door of the B&B from the alleyway. The B&B was very clean and the room was larger than depicted on their website. We arrived in Venice on a morning flight and had planned to check-in and explore the city. Well...on the way to the B&B, the water taxi hit a wake from another boat and we were drenched (luggage and all). So we arrived at the B&B mid-morning, wet and jet lagged. The ladies at the B&B were fabulous and began working on getting the room ready for us, which they did quickly in about 30 minutes, so we could could shower and dig out the few dry clothes we had left in the middle of the luggage. The accommodations were perfect. The breakfast consists of the usual breads, croissants, fruit, yogurt, fabulous coffee, juices, cereals, etc. You can also order boiled eggs and ham and cheese panini (which were very tasty!). The staff leave ice water and several cookie jars near the kitchen for afternoon snacks. The ladies are also fabulous about helping with restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions. Transport to the train station was super easy and we took the vaporetto. I highly recommend the 3C B&B and would stay there again.

I like your B&B. When making reservations in Venice, check to see if there is an "included breakfast." Breakfast is often available at no additional cost, but sometimes you get nothing. It can make a difference. Personally, I enjoy going out for a fresh croissant (brioche) and cappuccino in Italy.
