We are traveling to Tuscany with a family of 7 adults and two small children. We are looking for a good home base apartment in a city we can explore as well as arrange for a couple day trips to other towns.

I know just the perfect place for you!!! It is an apartment that takes up 2 floors in an elegant palazzo and can sleep up to 10 people, hs a small elevator so no dragging luggage up stairs, has central heat and is entirely air-conditioned!! It is bright and airy, huge, beautifully furnished, accepts children, has very comfortable beds, looks out on a courtyard with trees, flowers and statues, has great bathrooms (I LOVE the glassed in shower), and is within walking distance to sightseeing, cafes, shops, restaurants, grocery shopping, and more all in a quiet building with an owner who will offer any assistance you need. Hi. I've booked this large apartment in Florence for the end of June. So I haven't actually stayed there yet, but the reviews and the property look great. Tornabuoni Florence. You don't say when you're traveling; if it's after that, I can let you know how it goes.
