Any recommendations from Rick. Busy looking for my RS book on Milan and Lake District to see if he mentions Turin. Thank you, or should I say, Grazie Mille.
In April 2019 we had a nice four night stay at Carlo Alberto B&B. https://carloalbertobedandbreakfast.it/
It was in a beautiful historical building and a convenient location. We booked directly but you can read reviews on BC and tripadvisor.
While I don't have a hotel recommendation, I do have two restaurant recommendations. We stumbled upon Carlo Alberto Bistro for lunch. There weren't many people there when we walked in, but it soon filled up with locals. They had a hand written menu with specials (main, 2 veg, etc.). The food was simple and delicious. The other place was Kewinery. A small restaurant ran by a lovely gentleman. The menu was preset with a few options. The food was delicious and filling. I would go back to both of these again the next time we are in Turin.
We recently spent 8 nights at the Grand Hotel Sitea and it was fabulous. The staff are exceptional, the breakfast is wonderful and the location is perfect. We hope to return to Torino and would stay there again.
Thank you for your suggestions. I did find my RS Milan book and noticed no mention of Turin in his book. Grazie
