I know that others have asked about places to eat in Lucca but I'm interested in anyone else who has eaten and enjoyed Tratorrria Da Leo and found a place as good in Lucca. We went there in 2013 and are planning another trip next year. Da Leo had wonderful food, good service and a nice blend of tourists and regular locals. We were in Lucca for about 6 days and went back to Da Leo twice we liked it so much. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry, I so not know da Leo but we enjoyed our meal at Casa Puccini.
We liked Casa Puccini enough to eat dinner there twice. It is across the street from the Puccini House/ Museum and it is worth a visit for sure.
I had two delicious meals at Osteria San Giorgio, (Via S. Giorgio, 26) in Dec. 2018. Lovely people run it; seemed like mostly locals eating there. When I returned for my second visit, the owner (?) recognized me, I got a cheek kiss-kiss when I arrived, and a complementary glass of spectacular limoncello as my meal ended. Oh, and the food was wonderful, too!
