Osteria Nero d’Avola was recommended to us by a Sicilian friend. Nice setting, outside dining too. Well prepared meals.
Off of the main tourist area which is very refreshing, but in easy walking distance.
Not a big fan of touristy Taormina( note spelling) but this is a very good restaurant!

Suki, Looks like you hit the restaurant on a good night. Some of the trip advisor reviews say it was dreadful, so not certain if I will go in a few weeks, but thanks for the tip.
