Following a suggestion in the Florence & Tuscany 17th Edition, we booked our stay at the Hotel Il Bargellino for a three night stay in Florence. Carmel and Pino are excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. They anticipated our needs and requests. We had a very clean, comfortable room that provided direct access to the terrace. We appreciated their suggestions and assistance during our visit. Also, the hotel is conveniently located, so we were able to see pretty much all the places we planned to visit and have plenty of time and not feel rushed. The Hotel Il Bargellino is a super value.
