thanks rick for your suggestions in venice guided tours

Hi Guys,
i always wanted to write a review but i never had much time ... Rick i love your practical and easy reading guidebooks, overtime i go to europe they are always with us .. your guide books really takes us behind the scenes, i really enjoyed your way to see the city from the back door! Last summer my husband and i were in Venice and we totally loved it, as you say getting lost is the best way to see the city and you ve got to see more ... we took your advice we felt really comfortable as venice is a safe city .. and car free!!!! wich is great you can stop here and there without any stress! Hey Fellows if you get to venice remember comfy shoes and comfy clothes ... 400 bridges and walking is the best way to enjoy the city ! While in venice reading your guide here and there we felt that we wanted to know something more about the city ... that we wanted to have more a personal touch and get to melt with the local so we decided to get igor from www.tourleadervenice.com as our guide email info@tourleadervenice.com, this has been the best moment of our trip, he is funny outgoing he gave us a lot of tip about the best spritz in town, the most beautiful spot for the sunset, he really made a life time memory our trip to venice taking us into an amazing book store with a real gondola inside where books are displayed in bathtubs !! The best part was when we ve been able to see one of the oldest print shop in town with the original prints of pinocchio ... we felt so fortunate to have igor as our guide , as he knows everybody and he really showed us the real venice. thanks rick and thanks igor

Thank you so much for sharing the link & address! The photos in the link of the printing presses w/ the Venetian plates would be very interesting to see in person.

To see in the reality is just amazing ... you ll see the real venice, and you ll see when venice was printing books for all europe. Recently Gianni open just on the side of the print shop a kind of museum .. ask him if you can have a look !!
