If you are traveling to Lago di Como in northern Italy, we heartily recommend Alberghetto la Marianna in the town of Cadenabbia. It is run by a wonderful couple Paola and Ty. Paola runs the welcoming hotel and Ty is the master chef that manages the restaurant. It is a modestly priced, friendly place on the western side of Lago di Como across from Bellagio. The lake taxi boats are a block or two away that transport you to Bellagio and the other scenic towns. Not fancy, but a wonderful stop over, with a great restaurant!!
