My husband and I are planning to stay in Orvieto for 2 nights on June 25 & 26. We will have a car . Any recommendations on where to stay that includes nearby parking is requested . We don’t usually have high expectations - just a nice clean room with a double bed and private bath in a safe area

We loved the Hotel Corso, which is on the east side of Orvieto, just a bit away from the heaviest crowds in the center and west end. It’s an easy walk to those places, for sightseeing and dining.
We didn’t have a car, but the hotel does list Parking as an amenity.
Maryanne, based on the title of this Thread, are you planning on staying in Syracuse/Siracusa in Sicily, prior to arriving in Orvieto on mainland Italy?
We briefly stopped in Siracusa on a different trip, but didn’t stay overnight. Do you have lodging all set for there?
… Or is Ortigia (an island adjacent to the city of Siracusa - in Sicily) what’s intended in the title of this thread? Just wanted to confirm the location(s) being considered.
