I will be spending a couple of nights in Spoleto and looking for reasonably priced lodging (ideally, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 euro) in or close to the center.

If you mean for a single room, then I don't think that price will be hard to find in a web search. For instance, see these two places that happen to have web sites:
