Are there wonderful restaurants in Rome and Florence that need 2-3 months reservation in advance? We are there last of Sept .Reviews on Armondo el Pantheon look wonderful, I only see phone no email. Would like one with view in Rome but not nirtogen /nu wave . Also friend said 4 lions in Florence for food and view and la scaletta? Hate to get blocked into tourist traps. Thank you

We loved Trattoria Il Sostanza in Florence--reservations a must--it is small and run by the same family for many years. Fabulous food--the butter chicken, side pasta dishes, and the desserts were equally wonderful. We like it better than Cibreo and our meals at Armando were mediocre and disappointing.
