Our group is composed of 2 vegetarians and 2 omnivores and we would like recommendations for Siena restaurants. Great food that includes of course vegetarian options and nice atmosphere would be what we are looking for.

It's not fancy, but we really enjoyed La Taverna Di Cecco at Via Cecco Angiolieri 19. We didn't have a reservation and were lucky to get a table outside. Food was typical Tuscan. My husband is a meat eater, but he ordered a risotto with truffles and still raves about it. We trued to go back the following night, but it was closed, it may have been a Monday.

My suggestion is to search online, top restaurants in Siena, and check every list. Whichever restaurant appears the most on each list, I would research the menu online and take a chance. There are so many great restaurants in Siena and everybody will have their own favorite.
