Hello, I will be in Siena for a morning tour and then having a late lunch and then returning to Montepulciano by car. I have been trying to make a late lunch reservation without luck. Am I trying too hard? Is it easy to grab a late lunch in Siena at this time of year (as a walk in?) Grazie Millie, Marianna

What restaurant are you trying to book? Have you phoned, emailed or tried booking via their website? Perhaps your hotel can book a table for you.
Many restaurants close in the off season. Have you checked their website?
Of course, you'll always find somewhere to grab a bite if you're not too particular.

How late? Quite a few close at 2:00pm or so. A particular restaurant may not be open for lunch at all on the day you want.
