Hubby and I have a month in Sicily from May24 Im looking for your best suggestions for accom for 6N in Ortygia and 4N in Trapini.
We like the ocean, views and to swim, or can also walk to if the old town is best to stay in.. love a market and the vibe of. Could do with a balcony and communal breakfast . Lots talk about rooftop breakfast.
(Im second guessing my current bookings in these places after a couple of not so good reviews. )

On the Best of Sicily tour, we stayed at the waterfront Residence La Gancia,Piazza Mercato del Pesce, Trapani. Very nice, in centro, sea views.
The hotel Domus Mariae, Via Vittorio Veneto 89, Siracusa in Ortigia was waterfront, had a rooftop terrace (don’t know if they served breakfast- trip was in November), convenient to visit anything by foot in Ortigia.
I’d be happy to spend tonight in either one!

I enjoyed my stay at Secret B&B in Trapani.
No ocean view but my room was comfortable, host was friendly, and the breakfast was good.
In Ortigia, I stayed at Domus Mariae Albergo on Via Vittorio Veneto 76, right across the street from the Domus Mariae Benessere Hotel.
My room had a small balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast was very delicious and served across the street at the Domus Mariae Benessere Hotel.
My trip was in 2018 so not sure if breakfast is still included at the Domus Mariae.
