The Hotel Laurin has plenty of modern, neat rooms with terraces for direct views of the harbor and the Mediterranean (Ligurian) Sea. The breakfast buffet is wide-ranging, plentiful and delicious. Just a short walk down the street and up a short hill above the fish market is La Cambusa restaurant. Though Rick says the food was "forgettable", we enjoyed an appetizer of delicious, fresh bacon-wrapped prawns and entree of trofie pasta with outstanding freshly made pesto- the best we ever had! Maybe a new chef and menu in 2024-5?
