My husband and I have been to Rome several times. Whenever we’re there, we try to arrange a tour with Rick Steves’ tour guide, Francesca Caruso. We were able to meet up with Francesca on Friday, November 5, 2021. Francesca guided us through Palatine Hill and she was able to bring it to life for us. Her knowledge of Roman History is truly amazing. My husband and I are very inquisitive and Francesca is able to answer all our questions. I have never experienced such a talented tour guide in my life. If you’re ever in Rome, please consider hiring her, she is beyond amazing.

Here's another strong recommendation for Francesca Caruso, who was the local tour guide on my RS Venice/Florence/Rome tour in 2017.
