Rome Hotel Montecarlo - very good

Located in the Embassy area on Via Palestro, you’ll likely be welcomed by Franco, who knows everything about the area. The location is good, an easy 6-8 block walk to Termini Station. Restaurants of all types and a grocery snd pharmacy nearby.

Our room was small, as they all are in ancient cities. Twins pushed together, a fridge, TV, a nice bathroom, and a great breakfast. The windows had exterior shutters that blocked light and street sounds, if that was your desire, along with heavy curtains. Good beds, crisp linens, only lacking in room coffee station, which is a totally American thing.

You'll find those in every UK hotel (mostly) because it is a very "British" thing. (Kettle vs.coffee machine)

And one that I appreciate.
