Looking for a 3 star hotel close to the Fiumicino airport in Rome.

Two years ago we stayed at the Hotel Isola Sacre, which now has a new incarnation as the Golden Tulip Hotel at Fiumicino. I note that it still has shuttle service to the airport for €6 per person . You might check it out.

There are LOTS of hotels near the Fiumicino airport in Rome. We just "googled" it and spent the last night at a Best Western where we were able to use "points" for a free stay. The Golden Tulip has an excellent reputation as well. The town is kind of cute, and we ate our last meal in Italy at a British Pub on the seaside.
