We stayed during our summer visit to Rome at the Downtown Accomodation, following the advice of one of the Rick Steves' reader and the reviews on Tripadvisor.
We really enjoyed staying there, the owner Lorenzo, was extremely accommodating and kindly showed us the lovely room and offered us drink and explained us the city attractions. The price was very reasonable and we got an offer after contacting them directly. Excellent location right in front of the Roman Forum and Colosseum and very well connected to the other spots.
We think we were really lucky, we really recommend you all to stay at Downtown Accommodation.
