We recently returned from 2 weeks in Italy and can highly recommend the hotel Fifteen Keys in Rome's Monti neighborhood, it is about 15 minutes from Termini and on a small and quiet street, Via Urbana. Great staff, terrific buffet breakfast, and modern comfortable rooms. Many good restaurants are nearby.

I always stay in the Monti neighborhood, I know it well. I can walk from Termini to Urbana Street in 10 minutes (I'm a fast walker)
I looked at the Fifteen Keys site,nice rooms and pleasant design.
But looking at the prices, I'm not willing to pay more than $200 for "trendy" than my usual hotel in Monti on Urbana, Hotel Rafello. They treat me exceptionally well and the breakfast is wonderful, front desk staff is outstanding.

We depart the US on Monday 10/10 for Italy, we are staying at Keys for our Rome portion of the trip. The staff have been so responsive to my emails, helpful with restaurant suggestions and reservations. They even offered to make a box breakfast the day we depart since our train leaves early! Really looking forward to Monday!
