Heading to Rome for a 2nd visit. Looking for recommendations for hotel/apartment in Rome with a nice view of a landmark/historic building (like Pantheon, cathedral, Roman ruins or one of the piazza)? I like my "Room with a View". Under $250/night.

Not sure if the rooms have good views, but the rooftop of Mercure Colosseo has great views of, well, the Colosseum. Should be well within budget too.
I stayed at Hotel Abruzzi the first time I went to Rome in 2015. Our room overlooked Piazza della Rotonda and the Pantheon.
the room was considerably less than $250 per night on that visit. I've not priced it lately. You can enter your dates of travel and see if it fits the bill.
(the pictures on the website look photoshopped into the window openings, but the view fom our room REALLY did look like the photos)
Hotel Abruzzi looks modern and clean! Price have gone up since your visit. :-)
Albergo del Senato (https://www.albergodelsenato.it/) is amazing. We stayed there in July and it was like we were in a movie set. The Pantheon is right outside of the building, I asked for a room with a view and got the only room with a balcony. Service was great, rooftop deck, you can walk to everything.
