Ripa Medici B&B Orvieto

I recently returned from 21 days in Italy and my favorite place to stay was the Ripa Medici B&B in Orvieto. My friend & I stayed in La Casa Bianca, a small apartment equipped with fridge, microwave, and range in the small kitchen. The apartment was very clean and bright. Americans will love this place because of the exceptional light and a surplus of electrical outlets on every wall of this spacious apartment. The bathroom is large with a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. The bedroom has a king size bed and a 3/4 bed, both very comfortable. And then, you step outside and see the view and you are overwhelmed. To say it's breathtaking is an understatement. But there is even more - the hostess Sabrina was the best part of staying at this B&B. She speaks excellent English and is so friendly and accommodating that when you leave you'll feel as though you're leaving an old friend.

I will definitely return to Orvieto if for no other reason than to spend a relaxing, restful stay at Ripa Medici and have a morning chat with Sabrina over a cup of cappuccino.

I will second the recommendation for Ripa Medici. Sabrina definitely was the best B&B hostess we had in our 30 day trip to Italy. I can still hear her saying "Mama Mia".

I am so excited to read this. I just confirmed my reservation for 3 nights in La Casa Bianca in March.

You will not be disappointed in the room, the view or Sabrina.

I contacted her a week or so ago to let her know I am returning with 3 friends in April and asked her to save a couple of rooms for us.

Please give my regards to Sabrina.

We, too spent 3 nights at ripamedici.it with Sabrina as our hostess. La Cas Bianca was our room also.
We recommend this lovely location, hostess and views for a happy stay in Orvieto, Italy. Sabrina will do your laundry for a small fee and even brought an ironing board and iron to our room when I said I needed to iron a couple of things. What a peach!

Last month we spent 2 nights at Ripa medici and wish it could have been a week. We did not stay in the Casa Blanca but in one of the two rooms with a living room and kitchen in between. Each room had its own bath. And still had the lovely views on the wall of the city. Sabrina and family were so hospitable. Her son Marco made us crepes on our last morning along with a full breakfast every day. Great recommendations for dinner and Orvieto was wonderful at night to walk around. We dropped our car off before ascending to Orvieto on the funicular and when we left, Sabrina offered to drive us to the train station I would definitely stay there again. It was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
