We stayed with Barbara and her family for one week in late September 2018. The room was exactly as described in the book. The location was perfect for touring southern Tuscany, and especially wine country. We absolutely loved it! We had everything we needed, and had all the assistance we required. Being able to do laundry on our last day was a real plus as we had another week in Italy after this location. The cooking class was extra special. In addition to Fiorella's fun style of teaching, we had an unexpected surprise visit by one of her close friends from the area who happens to be a Michelin star chef living abroad, who was back home for a visit. This added to an already special experience. Their wines and olive oils made on their farm were the best we tasted while in Tuscany. We seek out the local touch when we are on vacation and this is exactly what we got. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it and it was excellent value!
