Has anyone eaten recently at Le Capelle Medicee ? How was it? Would I need a reservation and if so how soon can I make one.
Any other restaurants you can suggest in Florence, Italy for my husband and I to enjoy local food.

I highly recommend Sostanza, where reservations are mandatory for the two nightly seatings (unlike other places in Italy you do NOT own the table and they hustle you out so the second seating can begin). You will share your table with others- not my preferred or usual MO but we actually enjoyed chatting with the young couple near us. Order the butter chicken (not Indian style!)- it is delicious, as was the bistecca Fiorentina. Sostanza is well known and highly regarded- and lived up to its reputation.
