restaurants in Varenna

I did not try any of the more high end restaurants of which there are quite a few For very reasonable priced casual dining with outdoor seating and a lake view, Varenna Cafe Bistrot and Bar Il Molo were both nice. In the town center, Ristorante del Sole (attached to hotel Albergo del Sole) was also very reasonably priced and served good fresh local lake fish.

We also liked Bar Il Molo, good food and cannot beat the view at this very picturesque restaurant.
