Restaurants in Cinque Terre

Hello,

We will be a family group of 13 traveling and staying in Monterrossa. Any restaurant recommendations for large parties (regular, vegan, vegetarians in group).

Thanks!

We’ve dined well here but it is expensive: http://www.ristorantemiky.it. They have a cantina which is more casual and lower priced. Can’t comment on the vegan and vegetarian choices, we love the seafood. But most restaurants accommodate dietary issues these days. We traveled in Italy with my nephew who is a vegetarian. Night after night he’d order and seem unsatisfied. I asked him after a while what was the problem. He said when I tell them I’m a vegetarian all I get is vegetables!

Adriana, I think you're not seeing a lot of responses because yours is a specific situation not many travelers would have: a large group of varied diets. As you'll definitely need prior reservations for a group this size, you might contact the host of your accommodation for ideas and possibly even making those bookings well in advance for you?

We really liked Cantina di Miky, Ristorante Miky's more casual sister. It is not very large so again, reservations would be essential. I would assume a vegetarian could find something to suit there but I'm not so sure about vegan.

They don't post their menu but here's their website and FB page; you could contact them with questions:

I know the Belvedere can fit our tour groups of 26 so it should not be too hard to reserve ahead for your group of 13, but they still get full so do reserve: https://www.ristorante-belvedere.it/en/index.html. Their Amphora Belvedere can easily serve 4 seafood eaters or probably more, depending on your other dishes. Don't over-order that one unless your people really like octopus.

I am vegan and will add that I’ve gotten vegan meals at both Cantina di Miky and Belvedere.

The meal at Belvedere was an RS tour group meal and I do not think the guide ordered my meal ahead but I believe he did let them know there was a vegan in the group.
