We are planning on staying at the Residenza Cellini for one night (arriving in the afternoon) pre-cruise partly because of their location. Any experiences with this hotel or suggestions for a quick, jet-lagged walk/visit in the immediate area?

It was a number of years ago (8?) that we stayed there and I liked it a lot. It seems to still get good reviews on Trip Advisor. Coming out the front door and turning right leads to a nice little shopping street. Good choice.

Please excuse me. I was mistaken about the hotel. I am just going through some albums, trying to decide what to pitch, and
I see that the hotel we stayed at was Residenza Canali. Sorry about that. Anyway, the Canali was very nice, if you are interested.
