Have a look at the hotel’s website it has a good range of photos; it looks very clean with decent rooms. Very old-style decor and antique furniture may not be to everyone’s taste. Also have a look at booking.com to see if there are any reviews of the hotel.

I found this B&B on Sawday's (my favorite source for charming places) and we stayed there a few days last October. I liked it very much. The rooms are not large, but it's very clean, and the common areas have lovely family antiques.

I specifically wanted to stay in Trastevere for a change, and this is far enough from party central but close enough to the bridge to cross over into the Centro.

The best was the wonderful host. He sat with us at breakfast, recommended great local restaurants and sites, and showed us some historical relics from his family's collection. The experience was like staying in a friend's lovely home in Rome.

HI that is exactly the feedback I was hoping to hear. I know Rick mentions it in his last book that we have. We have booked for four nights. Thank you.
