I am flying into Milan late at night and need a hotel close by. I am not renting a car so recommendations on a hotel (3 or 4 star) and the best way to get there (taxi, shuttle?) would be super appreciated. Thanks -K

Stayed here when we had an early departure from Milan--- they have a shuttle to/from airport--- very satisfied with everything

We stayed at First Hotel Malpensa in May 2016, and found it to be very satisfactory. It is close to the airport, and they have a shuttle to and from the airport. Here is the website: http://www.firsthotel.it

Another good experience at First Hotel Malpensa, a few years ago. Not particularly special, but everything was fine, and it worked out very well for an early morning flight.

We stayed at Hotel Cardona a few years ago and liked it. Pick up from airport was free--hotel is about 2/3 miles from ap. at that time the hotel had been renovated and had nice new beds (king size) and good bathroom. Breakfast was included and was good--above average for Italy. Despite being near ap the room was quiet.

2nd vote for Hotel Cardona. Price was reasonable, breakfast was very generous with variety and quantity and what's not to like about numerous cups of cappachini? The shuttle was prompt and comfortable. Would stay there again if needed.

We have stayed twice at the airport terminal hotel. It is currently branded as a Sheraton. Location could not be simpler.
