Hi, I’m not sure what you’re thinking of the specific price level, but I always stay at the Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati in the cheapest room they offer. The location is fantastic - across the piazza from the cathedral which has my favorite Italian church interior…or at least it was before I stayed in Palermo. ; )

Thanks for the tip. And I’m going to Palermo first, in just 6 days, from São Paulo to Palermo, a week there, will see the chapel to compare w Parma. Then flying to Rome and driving to Parma for a Zero waste meeting w city, the touring Toscana and Umbria back to Roma. Yippee.

We have stayed several times at the Alamire Suites and Studios. The owner lives in the building and is a wonderful host. Great location in the old center on a quiet side street.
