Day trip to Monreale. Street food tour (eating but also a wonderful city tour along with good food) (www.streatpalermo.it). Breakfast and cocktail hour on the rooftop terrace of our hotel-the Ambasciatori Hotel. Fabulous nearly 360 degree views. The Cathedral is lovely as are the other churches in the town.
