Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Padua near the Basilica of Saint Anthony?

The Albergo Al Fagioni is an RS hotel with quirky room decor just around the corner from the Basilica and near the tram stop.

The Casa del Pellegrino is right across the street from the Basilica.

Albergo Al Fagioni was where my least favorite room in our European travels was. I know others had fine rooms, though.

When we were in Padua to join the Village Italy tour, we enjoyed our pre-tour stay at Hotel Al Santo, very near the Basilica. We were there for three nights. The room was small, but comfortable. We loved the staff, and the breakfast was great.
That was in 2017, but we would gladly stay there again. We preferred it to the tour hotel, Al Fagiano.
