Padova's La Finestra

We had an excellent meal at La Finestra in Padova. Since we are not big eaters, we prefer to share multiple courses, and the restaurant couldn't have been more cooperative, splitting each course so we didn't have to. We began with an arugula, pear, and sautéed goat cheese salad, continued with spaghetti with scallops, and had beef filet with rosemary, served with sautéed potatoes, as the secondi. Dessert was a deconstructed tiramisu--the ladyfingers, espresso, and marscapone served in separate containers so you could combine yourself. All was delicious, and our only regret was that we couldn't return for the duck breast because it was our last night! The chef and his wife were wonderful hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, one of the best we had on our trip.
