We stayed in April 2016 at Downtown Accomodation and can only recommend it. Very friendly staff, Lorenzo was so helpful and always willing to help, he really cared about us, always asking how we were and give suggestions and recommendations. The B&B is ideally located within walking distance to the main attractions, very close to the Colosseum, you can get by foot to all the tourist attractions. We walked along Via del Corso and reached the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps in 20 minutes, and along Viale Vittorio Emanuel and reached the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori in 25 minutes. To reach the Vatican the best way is by metro, the stop only 5 minutes walk away.
In short, the ideal location for a city trip in Rome.
I’ll definitely stay here again.

We stayed there 2 years ago and are returning this fall for 2 nights again, before catching a cruise. It was quiet, nice breakfast and Lorenzo helped us with maps, suggestions on how to get around. My only complaint was we found the restaurants in that area a little disappointing. Over priced and not nearly as good of food as the smaller villages. It was a great location and when we booked it, Lorenzo sent us specific directions from Train, so made it easy to find.
