Anyone eat at Alfredo alla Scrofa, in Rome, where fettuccini Alfredo was born. It is on Villa Della Scrofa. Is it worth going to, do you need a reservation in February.
You might get responses by re-posting this in either the Food and Drink section (middle column) or the Italy section (left column), not the Reviews section, since you haven't yet been there.
We ate there on our last trip (May) and it was very good--did not have pasta but had fish. We did not reserve but went early. The restaurant is very attractive and waiters formally attired and service was attentive.
Thanks for the responses, will put it on our list to try.
Maybe it is better now than it was in the 80s. My pasta stuck together.
We ate there in 2010 and enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was very nice and food very good.
